General Questions

Q: Do you deliver every image that you shoot?

We do not deliver every image that we shoot. There are many images that are missed focus shots, out of focus, test shots, repeat and duplicate shots (images shot in continuous mode), images that make show subjects in unflattering poses or expressions that dilute the images as a whole. The minimum amount of photos that you will receive will depend on the package you book.

Style and Quality Questions

Q: What is your photography style?

A: It’s all about everlasting love. I want my photography to be timeless. Not follow a color trend that will go out of fashion in a couple of years or make your grandchildren wonder why you are all looking yellow/red/green in your photographs. I think photos of such special events like weddings are like family heirlooms, to be passed down generations and cherished forever and they should stand the test of time.

Q: Can I see a full album of a wedding that you shot?

A: Yes definitely. Even though our website will highlight the best from each wedding that we photograph, we will be glad to provide you links to full albums.

Q: If my venue is outdoor in bright sun light or in a very dark location, will you be able to shoot it?

A: I have shot in all times of venues and situations and the benefit of being a professional is the ability to adapt to any situation, whether it be about lighting, space or weather. We use latest high quality lenses that are able to shoot in extreme low light conditions and we might also use external lights depending on the need. Please note that some venues like churches do not allow flash photography but we will adjust our work flow to meet the requirements of such locations.

Post Production Questions

Q: Do you edit and touch up all the images that you deliver?

A: Yes. Every image that is delivered is edited to be consistent with the rest of the images. We do color correction, exposure adjustments and other processing that is necessary to maintain our style. However, this is different from advanced and custom editing, which involves extra cost.

Wedding Day Questions

Q: What is your timeline on a wedding day and how many hours do you need for various photos?

A: A typical wedding day breakdown is provided here.

Q: What if there is a few hours downtime between different events? Do you still charge for that time?

A: When we set out for a wedding, we allocate the whole time for you. If you have any downtime, we usually spend that time preparing for the next event, taking detail shots or traveling to the next location.

Q: What happens if we have to extend the time on the wedding day?

A: We are flexible. We do not pack up as soon as the time ends but will check with you first to make sure that you want us to stay back to cover the extra time. We will then charge you the rates specified in the contract in 1 hour increments.

Q: Why do I need to pay for additional hours?

A: Photographing a wedding day is a labor intensive process and apart from that, our assistants and second shooters need to be paid for the extra time and every extra hour of photography results in more time in editing.

Payment and tax questions

Q: How do I reserve you for my date?

A: Dates are reserved once we receive your signed contract and deposit.

Q: Is there an additional fee if we pay via credit card?

A: Yes. The retail adjustment fee for all credit card transactions is 3% of the charged amount.

Q: If we cancel the wedding, will we receive our retainer fee back?

A: Unfortunately no. Retainer fees are used to reserve and block your date. Once we reserved your date, we do not accept new clients for your date and also turn away any potential enquires and bookings.

Q: If we change our wedding to a different date, will we be able to use our retainer fee towards a future date?

A: It depends. If we are free on your new day, we will be more than glad to re-book you and apply your retainer towards that date.

Why do you charge travel fees?

A. If the venue is 50 miles from Memphis, we charge a mileage fee and also a travel fee. We have to do this to cover our expenses for the additional time spent in travel and also to compensate our team.
